per month

I get Rs 10 thousand from my father every month for my expenses. I live in a hostel.
Can I say 'I get Rs 10 thousand from my father per month'?
You say that, but it sounds more old-fashioned every day.

People nowadays use Latin phrases less and less, and "per" is a leftover from Victorian commercial jargon, like "inst" and "ult".

(PS: A native speaker would probably spell it out as "Ten thousand rupees" or "10,000 rupees", not mixing letters and numerals.)
I agree with Keith and Hermione. Just change "per" to "each" or "every". And if you do that, you don't need to move any text.
Yes. I did wonder why you wanted not to use a perfectly good sentence.
Thanks
If I change the position of 'per month', would it still not be acceptable?

I get Rs 10,000 per month from my father.

I am asking because I've seen 'per month' written like that with the amount of money.
