Hola amigos, alguien me puede explicar el significado de la palabra ping en esta frase: (cuando lo encuentres) - it has the quit ping of truht.

Gracias.
I think the phrase is "it has the quiet ping of truth", ping being sound.

Hey! sorry for my bad spelling, I didn't notice but yes, that's almost the answer, but what kind of sound?

Thanks!
are you sure it´s not the "quiet ring of truth"? Something can "ring true" in English if it really is true--but not "ping true".
I associate ping with the noise a bullet makes. See this definition.

Therefore I think the use of ping rather than ring could be deliberate to suggest how truth can hurt.
Quiet suggests that the truth hits you like a bullet without you hearing it coming.
