Hello,
Let' say that I am writing another post in a topic to make it go up on the forum's board, to make everyone see it once again at the top of all the other topics.
How would you call this kind of activity? Pushing up a topic? Poping it up?
On this forum it's called "bumping", and if it's done with the sole intention of sending your thread to the top of the first page, it's the heinous crime mentioned in Rule #8: . If nobody responds to your question, do not post again to simply request help – instead, post more information or context to help us to help you.

You probably mean "popping". "Bumping" is the right word, as Velisarius says. The result of bumping your thread is that it pops up again.
