He pushed up his sunglasses onto the top of his head.👁 Tick :tick:
(i) if you push something up, there is motion; on expresses a place, onto expresses motion - he is pushing up - that is motion. He has pushed them from his eyes to the top of his head. (ii) the definite article is required.
