Quad

Hotmale, really now.

You are not new here. You know we require full sentences and context. A quad could be a person who has lost the use of all four limbs, it could be the central square in an American university, it could be any number of other things. Don't make us play guessing games.
I thought that it is a language question πŸ‘ Smile :)

What I would like to know whether you treat a quad like any vehicle with four wheels. so you say "I drive a quad" or as a vehicle that you sit astride on (like a bike or a motorbike) so you say "I ride a quad".

Nunty, my sense of humor does not go that far that I would request an answer to a question which do I do with a person who lost the use of his/her four limbs: drive or ride πŸ‘ Smile :)
Aha, so you are talking about a vehicle? How were we to know that from your opening post? What is a quad?
I'm surprised that there's doubt over what a 'quad' is, maybe it's a particularly European type of vehicle.
Here are a few in action.
I would say that you ride one rather than drive.
Hotmale's clearly talking about a quad bike, apparently also known as an All-Terrain Vehicle: Wki article here.

I'm pretty sure you still "ride" it, HotmaleπŸ‘ Smile :)

PS. And now I look, there's this sentence in the article:
The rider sits on and operates these vehicles like a motorcycle, but the extra wheels give more stability at slower speeds

EDIT: I hadn't seen Bevj's post when writing this one. But yes, "quad" is familiar to me too.
I'm afraid we cannot know what Hotmale meant (boat or all-terrain bike or something else) until he chooses to tell us.

Let's hold off on the comments until then, please.

Thank you.

Nunty, mod cap on
He asked if you treat a quad (whatever that is) like you treat a vehicle with four wheels.

No context.

No background.

No sentence.
