reasonable&sensible

I thought it would be sensible to dash into the large department store where it was bought and exchange it for a larger one.
in this sentence, can sensible be replaced by reasonable.?

In general, they're synonyms.

To quote from the dictionary:
"Reasonable most often means sensible: A reasonable supposition is one which appeals to our common sense."

This supports your suggestion that the person who said this thought that the sensible thing to do was the same as the reasonable thing to do.

The two words do not always mean the same, but that is another question. 👁 Smile :)
