Rehydrate

Ciao a tutti

I'm unclear as to what would be the Italian term for "rehydrate." I see plenty of use of the term disidratato. But in AE, when I have added water to dehydrated food in order to render it edible, I have rehydrated it, but I don't see any form of ri-idratato being used. Is it perhaps ricostituito? Grazie in anticipo, come sempre.

As you have already figured out yourself, DIsidratato can't mean REhydrated, can it?
It obviously means DEhydrated.
Try with REidratato.
