Can I say using ' resemble' as follows?

He resembles his mother in personalty.
He resembles his grandfather in his outgoing and friendly personality.
He resembles his grandmother with/(maybe)in his eyes.

I know they're quirky, but that's what sounds good to me.
I want to just make sure that if the preposition ' in" or ' with' is interchangeble in the setnences mentioned above. Is that OK?
The first three sentences, I would say not. For the last one, I'm not sure. Because you normally hear, "He has his grandmother's eyes." Actually that's the way you normally hear all the sentences, but one through three use in. For sure. With sounds strange because it's a characteristic of the person. Eyes can be seen as well, things that you can look in. That actually have an "inside" sometimes.

In and with are not really interchangeable here....
Sentence 1 is fine, and for sentence two you must say in personality, not with.
In sentence three I would add his as I have done above, because it is needed...
But sentence four has to be restated - "His eyes resemble those of his grandmother".

Can I say using ' resemble' as follows?

He resmbles his father in looks (or in appearance)👁 Tick :tick:

He resembles his mother in personalty (or with personality)
He resembles his grandfather in outgoing and frindly personality.
He resembles his grandmother in eyes.
I don't like the others.

Here are alternate possibilities.

He is similar to his mother in personalty.
His outgoing and friendly personality is much like
his grandfather's
His eyes resemble his grandmother's.

I prefer to use "resemble" for things that are "visual".
