What is the meaning of "riposte" here? Could this mean 'stab'?:
"To nose out the precisely suitable landscape,
The curiously jealous, the uniquely Randy,
Then blow them all up in a riposte or rape?
If so, your exploits should be read in silence,"
(Kingsley Amis's "Dirty Story").
