Runny day

Hi folks!

Does the expression "runny day" exist at all? If so, does it mean a day in which you're swamped with things to do so that you can't realize that time is going by?

Thanks in advance!
Hi Sharivan

I've never heard that expression, no. We might say 'busy day', 'crazy day' or 'hectic day', and there will be hundreds of other examples, too. But not 'runny' - that implies a day with a liquid consistency, somehow.

Have you heard it or read it somewhere?

Broc
Hi Broc,

If we do a search on Google, we can find something other than something related to liquids...

Thanks anyway!
"Runny day" is not an expression that anyone would understand. Where did you see it?
Hi Broc,

When I do a search on Google, I find one result in English, and that's someone saying they are having a 'runny day' because they have a cold and their nose is running. So that's related to liquids, and it's not a standard expression.

So if you can tell us where you saw or heard the usage of 'runny day', maybe we can help more. Otherwise, as Copacetic and I have said, it's not an expression we use.
