I guess it means something like 'planning'?

Well, it generally means something like that, Rzezucha: "process of tv executives sitting down and deciding which programme to put on when". I think in your examples, though, its meaning is closer to "timing" ... or "result of tv executives sitting down etc."👁 Smile :)
