Second conditional

When I'm asking a tutor to write a letter to the cashier asking to give me a refund as a result of some problems that I have faced. Can I mention the following sentence when I do not know whether she has any other classes at weekends or not?

"I would like to participate in classes, if you had any at weekends"

Thanks
Mod note: this looks like a proof-reading request (which are generally deleted). Your title however suggests that you are interested in the use of a grammatical structure in this context. It would help if you said how you understood the 'second conditional' was used and your worries about the use in this context. This will help others respond more helpfully.

No I'm not asking for proof-reading at all. I have explained the situation; I would like to know whether in this situation I can use the second conditional or not; in other words, is the second conditional appropriate in this situation, in which I am not sure whether she has any classes at weekends or not.
Thanks, Mike. I understand 'second conditional' to refer to impossible or unlikely situations, and is signalled by the subjunctive or past tense modals. You are hoping that your tutor has classes over the weekend, but you want to say that you are not optimistic about it (for politeness reasons), hence if you had rather than if you have. If this is the meaning, that is fine.
