Hi there,I would like to know if I can use seedless in its figurative sense meaning "without any problem".Thank you for your help,Jane
Are you directly translating sans pépins? Unfortunately that doesn't work in English.
You could say seamlessly (as franc 91 said), or without a hitch....It depends on the sentence of course...
Oh yes, I thought that "sans pépins" could have have a figurative meaning in english too... I wanted to play on the double meaning : - a grape without seed - a situation without problem (as pépin can be used for problem in French). That's for an association which help developping fruit's cultures. I have to find something else 👁 Smile :-)
, thank you all ! Jane
Just an idea, but you could say that everything is peachy if there are no problems. Depends on what fruit it is I suppose...
Thank you mdb for your guess ! Actually, there's no particular fruit, just about all ! I just want to connect the idea of a well-done job with fruit. Thus, I think your "peachy" guess 👁 Smile :-)
could be a clue...Thank you, Jane. Ps : by the way, thank you to CarlosRapido too
