Is is correct to say "serpentine" in the following sentences/phrases?

Serpentine Love
She embodied serpentine love.

Because the dictionary says..
Serpetine means...
"Of or resembling a serpent, (as in form/movement)"
But...
There are other dictionaries that do not say that it is... only to describe form

From some dictionaries
of or like a serpent or snake.
or
You can use the adjective serpentine to describe things that look like a serpent or are snakelike.

I am trying to refrain from using words other than "serpentine"

I am just making sure it is ok to use it to describe things other than appearances/form/movement... because I have seen it online... used in the form
"serpentine love"

Tell us where you found
Serpentine Love
She embodied serpentine love.
That's part of the we ask for. It helps us understand the situation, which in turn allows us to give you a better answer.
Those are examples that I made up...
But I found a music video with the name "serpentine love"

< Video link removed. Cagey, moderator >

I was looking for a way to say
Serpent-like love
but serpentine sounds better...

What other things? Since I'm not an expert in the emotional life of reptiles, the only possible meaning of 'serpentine love' that suggests itself is the idea of ultra-possessive love; this would be a metaphorical reference to the way some snakes coil themselves around their victims. It is usually a waste of time asking about the meaning of pop song lyrics or music video titles, and totally pointless without some context.
This is by far the most dominant usage of serpentine that I hear:

2. having a winding course, as a road;
twisty.

It's rarely used about actual snakes because snakes don't figure in most people's daily conversation.

So serpentine love, to me sounds like it possibly describes the twisting, turning course of a relationship over a period of time. A road through the mountains might be serpentine.

I meant to use it a metaphorical way...or a poetic way...

That sounds much more likely than my suggestion ; though you couldn't in that sense say 'She was the embodiment of serpentine love.'

To express what? Unless you explain what idea you want to convey, or give the context of an expression you have come across and aren't sure you understand, how do you expect anyone to answer your question? Just tell us!
What do you mean by 'poetic way'? That phase sometimes appears to be used to describe writng which seems to offer some profound insight ('sounds good') but actually has no intelligible meaning at all - what I would call 'gobbledegook'. Poetry, like any other form of writing worth reading, makes sense.

This is close to what I was trying to get at with "serpentine" love...

I do not mean it in the "twisty, turny" sense...

I mean it in the sense that a serpent is vicious/aggressive and protective or possessive - so in love would be protective/aggressive in the matters of love... and also serpents can be a metaphor to describe someone who is cunning.... that is what I meant by "serpentine love"...
