Hi there!

Is the following sentence correct ?

" I was more worry about other people hear me singing out than on my strumming "

In spanish would be : Estaba mas preocupada de que me escucharan cantar que de rasgear"

If I knew I would certainly tell you.

In English the infinitive (to) hear is not used as the object of a preposition, the gerund is used in that case. Since your verbs are the object of the preposition "about," you need an "-ing" word.

However you can use -ing or infinitive after "hear" and "see" etc. (verbs of perception).

I was worried about them hearing me sing. I was worried about them hearing me singing.

Oops. I didn't correct one of the mistakes in my earlier post, which may have confused Rodrigo. I meant my suggestion to be:

I agree with Soy Yo that after a preposition like "about", the form is always V-ing.
