Social conditioning

Hi, did I use the word "social conditioning"? Here is the context:

I am not saying that going to an English speaking country is a bad decision, but the choice of where to go should be based on intelligence, not peer pressure or social conditioning.
Social conditioning sounds fine to me, but I question your use of "intelligence" in that sentence. To me, it implies that someone who chooses to go to an English-speaking country is stupid. Wouldn't it be better to use the word "knowledge," "research," or "personal goals" or somesuch?
Social conditioning is what society teaches you over time about how to behave and what to value. This may be what you mean, but I wonder whether you are thinking of social pressure.

Social pressure
is what you feel at the moment, when other people are trying to influence you to do what they think is important or right. They might do this by expressing their opinions directly, or in other, less direct ways.

I agree with Cathy Rose about the word intelligence. Usually when it means 'information' (meaning 1) it refers to military or strategic information. In relation to people, intelligence usually has meaning 2, "the ability to comprehend".
Thanks for answering 👁 Smile :)

Would this one be more decent?

Yes, this seems to me clear and fine.
