For my first post I'd like to ask the following question please.
My friend reports to me that on the way to school he saw a stork (bird). I would like to ask him:
'Where you did see stork?'
'Where you did see stork?'
'Where you did see stork?'
Is any of the above incorrect for the grammar and context of the situation I described?
I see:
. . . a stork -> some stork . . . maybe I can't believe there was a stork to be seen?
. . . the stork -> the stork that he mentioned
. . . that stork -> same as the, the one just mentioned
If a native speaker says any of the three above, would it be correct naturally?
