Hi, everyone:

Employees are subsidized 10% of their expenses
10% of employees' expenses are subsidized.

Are the both sentences correct?

Best wishes.
Well, in the second one, it would be spelled out "Ten percent of employees' expenses are subsidized.", since numerals starting a sentence are always written out. The first one is a little awkward, but technically correct.
Thank you, ADCS
btw:

(1)Employees are subsidized

(2)10% of their expenses

Could you please tell me how to connect the (1) and (2) together, with a possible word/phrase? Since I want to keep (1)

I have difficulty with (1).
I wouldn't use subsidised in that way. What are you trying to say - that 10% of employees' expenses are repaid/ reimbursed by the company?
"Employees are subsidized; ten percent of their expenses will be covered under this subsidy." - This would be the least awkward way of saying it in English.

"Employees are subsidized ten percent of their expenses." - This is fine, but sounds a little disjointed. Fine for a business context, generally

Numbers are funny, one through twelve are almost always written out in English within a sentence.
Panjandrum is right, as well. Subsidy generally refers to a governmental hand-out in at least American English. For what you are saying, I would say "Employees will be comped ten percent of their expenses" or "The company will cover ten percent of the employee's expenses"
Hi, Panjandrum:

I become confused by "repaid", "reimbursed" and "subsidized".

Which one should I choose, if the expenses refer to communication fees, transport fees, etc?
Thank you, ADCS, I've got it.

I just saw your other message... "reimbursed" is the best word of them all to use! So say "Employees are reimbursed ten percent of their expenses." I've heard that many times in my work experience!

That's great! Thanks again~!👁 Smile :)
In my experience, employees are not subsidised. Services for employees may be subsidised.
For example, an employer may subsidise a staff restaurant, childcare service or sports club. In this case the employer pays a proportion of the cost, the charges the employees pay are less than the normal economic cost.
