Supportive + Preposition

Hello,folks.
I've just finished reading an article on a Scottish online-newspaper and noticed the following:
"Luckily my family are and are used to all the jokes but suppose I do have to put up with a little of mickey- taking."

I feel there should be a preposition which is "to" right before "my job" if not mistaken?
"...very supportive to my job..."?
Any comments are very appreciated..

Hello Ayed

You're right that there should be a preposition there: I'd use "of".

Thanks a lot, Loob. I thought it was "to" becuase I often notice this:
An adjective diarected to man is usually followed by "to".This is why my intuition went there.
