Swindle

I know what "swindle" means. It means: When someone fools you into buying a worthless or inferior or defective item at a high price, you have been swindled.

Example: 1.He swindled elderly women out of their savings.
2.They were swindled out of their season tickets.

What are the meanings of those example sentences?
I know it, but could you please tell what the meanings of the two example sentences are?
"To swindle something out of a person" is the same as "to swindle a person out of something" and means "to rip a person off", "to cheat".
I know it, but could you please tell what the meanings of the two example sentences are?
1) He obtained the elderly women's savings through deceit.
2) They were due to receive some season tickets but they were prevented from receiving them by a trick.
Thank you very much..I got that.
