As the title suggests, may I ask a question please?
I was wondering what "Systematic by Method" actually means? Is it equal to "by systematic method"?

I suppose that it is a short way of saying Critical thinkers are systematic by method. This isn't really a standard expression. Instead, it appears to be Cummings' way of making a brief note about something that she believes that critical thinkers do.

It doesn't "mean" anything specific, it looks like a heading, or note rather than a fully formed concept.
The writing alongside it seems to define what they mean by this heading.

This is one of 7 headers in a table titled "Traits of Critical Thinkers".

So each of the 7 headers is a trait that critical thinkers have. Another one is "Open-Mindedness".

Yes, I think "Systematic by method" as used here clearly means "using methods which are systematic rather than methods which are instinctive, random or disorganized.
