Hola a todos

Estoy traduciendo un catálogo para anteojos de sol y me encuentro con la palabra "temple" que realmente no sé a qué puede aplicarse. Primero pensé que eran las patillas (o varillas) de los anteojos pero cada vez estoy menos segura.
Por ejemplo en la frase: "The temples and fronts are immersed in abrasive material". Entiendo que el frente de los anteojos (y también los temples) se sumergen en un material abrasivo, pero si alguien pudiera confirmarme a qué parte se refieren con temples, se los agradecería muchísimo.

It's the "patillas". Google "parts of eyeglasses" and look at the images and you will see.

There is a "temple" on your head too, so it is the part of the glasses nearest your temple.

Thank you so much. I googled several things, but I missed "parts of eyeglasses", silly me. I thought of the "temple" on my head too, but I was pretty sure that the Spanish "sienes" wouldn't apply here.
