Not sure if tempting is the right word but can you say:

Your sandwich is very tempting, now I want one too.

Yes, you can say this. If I wanted to express the same idea, I might use this version: Your sandwich looks really good. Now I want one too.

I would say that it “looks very tempting”, not that your sentence is incorrect. I would say in a sentence like this: “It is very tempting to buy a new car with interest rates as low as they are”.
