I think it depends on context. It could be interpreted as estimulante speaking on hormonal stimulant -see http://paraqueestesbien.com.mx/analisis/analisis_25.htm
but boosting is translated as potenciar in wordreference, so...

Hola. En todo caso sería "potenciación del (o de la) tiroides". Potenciador sería "booster".
