Hi everyone. There's a word I don't understand. Can you tell me what the word "toddler-proof" mean?

Here's an example : you have to toddler-proof your condo.
To toddler-proof something is to make it safe for toddlers -- it's also called childproofing. You can find tons of tips and gadgets and gizmos on the Internet with a quick search of "toddler-proof your home" -- including this "Room-by-Room Guide" from Dr. Sears.

Glancing at the list, I wonder how I'm still alive, since neither the term nor the tactics were employed in my own youth. I don't like to think that Mom and Dad wanted me to fall down the well. 👁 Wink ;)
We were just all less aware of the dangers of our homes back then -- oh, and we were smarter. 👁 Big Grin :D

in my house, because I have a nephew who's 3 years old, so I always have to keep my eyes on him all the time. I have to put the medicines on the high position so that he can't reach them, never let him climb the handrail, not to permit him to use the heavy toys for playing....And I'll never leave him alone until he turns 12. It's a long time.

There was a horrific accident happening in a high building in my city. A four-year-old baby was died because of falling down from the nine-floor apartment when he was home alone while his mother was driving her other eleven-year-old son to school. It's terrible.
