Hello,

I am a new member since today, so, I´m glad to share this website with everybody and get the opportunity to learn what you know a lot, my friends.

My question is, based on a notification I´ve received, next:
"Your contract will be canceled VESTED next week."

Please, if somebody can help me to translate this to spanish, I will thank you.
Originally, this text was sent me in spanish but the word VESTED in english (spanglish as they call, a trademark of Miami), so this is the original text:
el contrato será cancelado VESTED la semana próxima

I would like to know what it means.

Thank you.
Hola,

Creo que no.

Creo que hace referencia a una cancelación sin perjuicio de las ganancias que se pudieran devengar en el futuro.
O sea, suspender la realización de nuevos negocios, pero seguir pagando las regalías por los anteriormente realizados.

Realmente no estoy seguro, y es por eso que hago la consulta.

Gracias por tu ayuda !
I'd like to know what it means in English.

Normally a vested contract right can't be cancelled so it looks like there is some kind of error in the text.
el contrato será cancelado VESTED la semana próxima

It looks like bad English and bad Spanish. If so, it can't be well translated.
Dear Ricardo,

Thank you for your help.

So, are you saying that it is a contradiction ?
I can understand it.

But, what it´s the meaning ?
I have no idea. One can only guess.

In a way, it's not your problem. Translate the document as you found it ("Your contract will be canceled VESTED next week") and let the recipient figure it out. Point out that there is this error in the text and let it go at that.
Thank you, Ricardo.
I will follow your advice.
