Hi

I was googling something and saw people use this expression.

It is a demonstration I would look forward to with bated pen.
I await replies with bated pen.
I'm here with bated pen.

What does this expression mean?
I already looked up dictionaries, but couldn't understand it.

Could anybody please explain it for me?

Thanks in advance!
I've never heard or seen it, but it's intended as a play on waiting for something with bated breath, an idiom that means:
  1. β€”Idiom. with bated breath, holding one's breath because of strong emotion:I waited by the phone with bated breath.
It doesn't work in the new version for me, although I assume it means they are waiting with pen poised to dash off a reply. (Or if they're an editor, a poised red pen to correct all your mistakes.) πŸ‘ Smile :)
