Would it be possible to say my nick in Dutch?
'wooden shoes'
Is klompen the only possibilty or can you have a specific word for 'wooden' and another one for 'shoes'?

You could say 'houten klompen'. (I know it is double, because a klomp is by definition made of wood, but it sounds okay).
wooden = houten
shoes = schoenen
so houten schoenen would be an opiton too!
