I'm having some trouble translating "writedown" in a financial context.
How would you translate "writedowns on structured products" into french?

Hi Clara,
This Glossary gives for "writing down the investment[s]" => " dépréciation des titres ".
I would rather translate your expression as "to record [suffer] losses on structured products":
enregistrer un rajustement d'évaluation au sein d'un portefeuille de crédit structuré
