Corn is a type of crop in Solarpunk that players need to trade with the Tradebot at a certain point in the game. In addition, Corn is also used in some food recipes, and as a lure for sheep.

Finding Corn is a matter of upgrading your Airship to be able to reach the sky islands where this crop grows. Here's how.

Where to Find Corn in Solarpunk

In Solarpunk, Corn can be found on the islands that become accessible after you upgrade the Airship to level 4. The island on the northwestern edge of the travel circle contains two Corn plants, and the island in the southeast is home to six Corn plants.

Corn Location

Crop placement in the overworld is fixed in Solarpunk. The exact locations where you can find Corn are:

  1. Northwest Island Corn #1: Found on top of a cliff in the middle of the island.
  2. Northwest Island Corn #2: Found on top of another cliff in the western part of the island.
  3. Southeast Island Corn #1: Found at the western tip of the island.
  4. Southeast Island Corn #2 & 3: Found at the start of the western “arm” of the island, on a small cliff overlooking the lake.
  5. Southeast Island Corn #4 & 5: Found at the start of the northern “arm” of the island, on a ledge.
  6. Southeast Island Corn #6: Found at the northern tip of the island.

To upgrade your Airship to level 4, you’ll need to complete 20 trades with the Tradebot. They are:

How to Get More Corn in Solarpunk

After you clear out the two islands mentioned above, there are three ways you can get more Corn:

  • Upgrade Airship: When you upgrade the Airship to max level and are able to reach the snowy islands at the very edge of the map, you’ll find some more Corn there.
  • Corn Farming: Plant Corn Seeds you get from picking up Corn to start a farm where you can grow this crop.
  • Craft Corn Seeds: Unlock “Seedspack” at a Tier 6 Research Table, and you’ll get the ability to craft any seed in the game using four of the same crop. This means you’ll be able to make 1 Corn Seed using 4 Corn. Use this function to scale up your Corn farm and increase the total yield every harvest.
