Our Life: Now & Forever

What an incredible game. The writing's a little slow in parts, but there's a warmth and purpose to almost everything - Tamarak and I throwing snacks down to the boys on the bridge felt like the kind of little moment *I* remember from my own childhood.

It's easy for this sort of game to fall into shallow nostalgia pandering, but instead the game feels like a gentle prodding for the player to reflect on their own life.

Not to get too personal, but I recently had a major medical event, and this game has sincerely helped me make peace with it, reflect on my relationships with the people around me.

I also very much enjoyed how the option to come out after step 1 was handled. I was expecting just a 'yay, youre girl now,' but instead the characters had varying reactions to it - largely positive ones, but still - cracked jokes, and you were allowed to choose who to tell and why, which affected how they referred to you. It felt positive but still natural, which I appreciated.

You can see the seams of the choices a little on replay, but that's to be  expected with a game this large. Excited to see it fully completed!

Ah how i wish i could draw as well as some people in this comment section,  but i suppose this is why i have enlisted one of my friends to teach me how to draw, its just sad how we haven't had time to continue our drawing lesson, it's always so fun lurking around and seeing everyone's ocs and their renditions of them, I hope to be able to share my own ocs with you guys soon too so I can be apart of the fun you guys are having 😊

I'm not going to play the demo because I'd prefer to play the whole thing together. But goodness I'm excited, I played the first one, and have replayed it so many times; this one seems to have many more options (and I get TWO love interests), more customization for your gender (something very important to me as a nonbinary-woman), and the art is so stylized I love it. Can't wait for the full game, but I will.

its been so long since I've talked in here, Hi y'all!! im so happy to see all the new faces!

So, Isabella here is a very timid, nervous and shy girl that she doesn't have any confidence in speaking in front of many people (like introducing herself in class). But she is seen always writing on her notebook that she always has and yep, she is a talented writer in her age.

She writes stories in her notebook that she doesn't show her stories nor tell them to anyone except Qiu and Tamarack whom she trusts very much

She is also a huge fan in classic fairytale stories and poems by Willam Shakespeare.

Now, in Step 2 she hasn't changed much but she isn't that scared anymore in talking in front of many people (well not fully only just a bit) 

She is still the talented writer but improved, she decided to focus on writing fantasy stories and poems in her new notebook, and she is still a huge fan in Willam Shakespear's works.

She has been constantly teased by a lot of classmates; she didn't really like that of course sense the teasing is hurting her feelings.

(Also guys I'm about to have my exams, so wish me luck! or maybe not)

just finished step 1, and WOW! this was so adorable and sweet and mesmerizing and heartwarming and... you get the point.

 i really love how impactful the choices you make are and i also absolutely adore the art. the character customization was also very pleasing! 

i can't wait for the full release <3 <3 <3

Hi guys, it's been a while hasn't it? I'd actually be surprised if anyone from *back in my days* of this page was here when v1.4.0 was the latest one and the "last updated" counted 61 days... Man, how time flies by doesn't it? I joined this fandom as a sophomore and I'm now a college freshman. If anyone wonders how this page was a long time ago, you're welcome to visit past times from my profile I've basically just posted things regarding gb patch so it won't be hard

With this said and focusing on the people from the before times, we had a good run but I don't think I'll be posting anything else even if the game updates,for it is (at least for me) time to pass the torch down to the youngsters.

Meet Persephone! Sasha's grandmother, Persephone is a gentle, kind and welcoming old lady who loves to knit and bake cookies. She loves Sasha her granddaughter very much. She is 78 years old (Yep, she's really that old) who would send letters to Sasha sense Opal and her moved in Golden Grove. She isn't really good in phones and other tech stuff, so she decided to write letters instead. She loves Sasha deeply that she would knit a scarf for her.

Guys before I'm gonna be really busy with school for tomorrow, here is Sasha my mc in Step 3 sense idk what to draw so I decided this :)👁 Image

At this age Sasha is a hime gyaru and her relationship with Qiu? well it's still the same they aren't dating yet, but she is in the denial stage I guess?? She dates A LOT of guys to find her true love but most of them are awkward in their dates so I guess you could say she is in her dating era or a hopeless romantic era.  She really tries to find someone she connects with, maybe you could say she uses the tinder dating app. 

Her personality still is the same, energetic, cheerful and very girly.

Here is a fun fact!! I based Qiu's unrequited love for Sasha "From the start" by Laufey I mean I love the song honestly 

And don't worry probably soon Sasha will realize she them!

Though I imagine most people call him hacky, hack or hacks since its not a very good name (except Tamarack) he didnt have a good relationship with his parents, considering they were barely around in the first place. I realized he's still a baby </3 sweet boy. He's a bit taller thanks to his elevated boots but still an inch taller than average. And by comparison, this is how he looked in step 1 (oh god).

I made him TOO tall oops, I didn't know Qiu from step 1 was actually tall before I found out. 👁 Image

Oh yea the reason why Sasha is crying in this sketch, wellll she was really embarrassed because she made a mistake during a cheerleading practice and one of the girls got really mad at her soo.... yea 

I drew a scene from Step 1: Wheels event! 🚲 Qiu is being his usual sweet self, comforting Rosasharon and wrapping a scarf around his scratched palm. He says it'll be okay... but honestly, the scratch is the least of Rosasharon's worries right now. 😂

Guys I was reallyyyyyyyy bored so I'm gonna share some information about Sasha (You can also share some too!!) or idk

Sense some of you guys really think Sasha my mc is really pretty, she actually has some or more admirers in step 2 because they think she's cute. Sasha is REALLY touchy around her friends like she's really touchy around girls and people with different kinds of genders, but it depends if their comfortable like if they're not comfortable then Sasha is not touchy to them, if they a bit okay with it then she would just hold hands and hold their arms.

Okay this is what I like about Qiu's crush for Sasha (sense I like Jealous crushing Qiu :D), They kind of get annoyed when one of Sasha's admirers gave chocolates or a rose to Sasha while Vianca is extremely suspicious of that admirer (if that admirer was a boy) while Tamarack is probably not surprised that she gets roses and chocolates in valentines day.

Sasha does ballet and she's really flexible. Sasha has A LOT of clothes that light pink and some kogal style outfits.

guysss, i need helpp!!! (i dont know how to explain this but) i was playing the Game, and i was almost done playing step 2 "assistance" i finished the step 2, BUT i was just stuck on this page (even though i finished the Assistance Step)i cant click on it either//  and im not sure how to fix it....!!

I'm so sorry if you can't see it well :( but what Sasha is saying here is "C'mon! I'm gonna show you something!" and yep there are in Sasha's backyard (aka the whole forest itself). To be honest when I drew this I was like "they're so cute together!"

OLNF Demo keeps freezing up my whole computer:(

Does anyone have this issue? At some point during the demo the whole game would just freeze, but including my whole computer ! Id always have to force plug it out 😭🤧 it really only happens with olnf specifically, olba or other games are fine... Already reverified files in steam and tried to download through itchio instead but no luck still.
