So folks, if you like Go!Go!7188, you surely like other japanese rock bands, like Detroit7, or Mongoll800, or Polysics...

So maybe you'll be delighted to learn that all these bands and many more have recorded covers of go!go! songs and that a tribute album is coming out in march called "GO!GO!7188 Tribute - GO!GO! A GO!GO !" right ?

Akko just announced on the official website that she is pregnant !
Congratulation to her

so for now there won't be anymore gigs of go!go!7188, and the members will go on solo projects for a while.

If this could lead to a new Yuu project as good as ten no mikaku or iroha, then it would be a double happiness ;)

Thanks to Anonymous (see previous post) we know that GoGo will be publishing an acoustic album..... NEXT MONTH ?

Surf-rock band GO!GO!7188 will release their first acoustic best album titled “Acoustic Daisakusen!! / Acoustic Live Best” on September 22nd.

This will be the band’s second release since transferring over to FlyingStar Records. All the live tracks will be taken from their special 10th anniversary event, “Debut 10 Shuunen GO!GO! no Hi Special Acoustic Daisakusen!!~ Kudanshita ha Kitto Ame~“. The band picked out their favorites, such as “Jetto Ninjin 2010,” “Koi no Uta,” and “Kinkyori Renai“, and put them on this best selection album.

The acoustic album will offer a nice followup to their “Go!!GO!GO!Go!!” album that came out during the summer. Flying Records has also been working very hard on their official Youtube channel to try and promote the live material from the band, so an acoustic live release is not a terribly surprising announcement for fans, but still a welcome one.

looks rather ugly/cheap to me, but meh. Their site is damn cheap too since the end of 2009 when i presume they parted from BMG.
My thoughts are : they should have asked 👁 Image
hanaagogo to draw them a cool cover : it would have been much prettier, and surely free ;)
