The Courageous Monarch
When he was a little boy, Prince Chao Anouvong and his two brothers, Nanthasen and Inthavong, were taken from the court of their father, King Siribounyasan, to keep them safe from the king’s enemies. They were brought to a small hidden village on the Mekong riverbank close to the capital of Vientiane, living simply and playing with the other children in the village.

The Lounge is also a public venue offering a small library, sofas and chairs to unwind with a good read.

The spa at the stern of the upper deck offers scenic river views whilst enjoying relaxing reflexology massage.
