So you like horror films. This is good. There are many horror fans in the world. Considerably fewer are those who are truly devoted to the horror genre in all it's forms. I'm speaking of those who feel horror in their blood, have a true passion for the genre. It can't be faked; it comes from the heart. In keeping with their passion, the horror elite seek out every kind of horror film they can get their hands on, from early silents like Edison Frankenstein and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, to sleazy z-graders like Bloodsucking Freaks and Shriek of the Mutilated, to artfully done masterpieces like Audition and Eyes Without a Face, and beyond. Any subgenre, any country, any decade. They are willing to try anything, but aren't afraid to call a film a piece of junk, no matter the popular opinion of it. The horror elite also do research, research, research; if you know more than five of Jess Franco's pseudonyms, you probably belong here.
Some other important things: Spelling counts. Grammar counts. Details count. Everyone makes mistakes, but do your research and don't be sloppy. Above all, THINK. Listing names without reason is just plain lazy and won't get you in. Fill out the whole application. The more you tell us what you know the more likely you'll get in. Please take this last fact to heart. We are not dumb. Don't write stuff like "Halloween is cool!" or "Freddy is scary."
