I found this community through the LJ search engine, and decided to join.

This is my 6th year in 4-H and I do guinea pigs, cooking, visual presentations/public speaking, science, and family life. I'm starting a sheep project soon! I'm the historian of my club and the Vice President of the Teen Council in my county (Baltimore County, MD).

Hello fellow 4-h ers,
Hi I just found this community and I just had to join it. I've been a member of this 4-H for only like..a year but I love it so much now. I'm sixteen and I will be entering my Senior year in high school when summer ends.
For the past three days I've been up at Club Congress in Starkville Mississippi at MSU. Wow I had so much fun! I wish I'd joined the club earlier, but unfortunately I didn't know about it. At club congress I met alot of nice people from Mississippi like Kaylee and Thomas, then there was Cody and the song leader girl..hmm her name eludes me but I know she has the same last name as me. Then there was Jeremy and all that. Anyway it was so fun and I can't wait to go back next year. I'm going to try to sing a better song this time for Share the fun, I sung Beautiful Disaster and got second place thus I didn't get to perform in front of everyone. But next time I bet I do haha. I Anyway in the end I just want to say I love this club now and I just want to meet other 4-h people (who also happen to be ljers haha) well that's about it.

Hi everyone! ^_^

I'm new to this community, but not 4-H. (been in it since I was 8)
We just got done with the New York State Fair here (which I modeled in for 4-H) It was a good year, lots of blue ribbons and I met a cute guy as well. ^_^
However, I'm thinking about taking in a couple of my chickens and one of my rabbits to the fair next year...but I'm baffled as I've never have shown animals at the fair. Are there any special requirements? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's me again. I'd like to keep a record of the news and updates. This is what I have so far:


[08-21-05] - The community is complete! =D

[08-07-05] - The layout code now works with all pages. I'm afraid I'll be gone untill the 14th of August. So the bio page will have to wait. I'll finish it when I get back. Thanks.

[08-06-05] - Added more features in the right sidebar. Created banner to advertise the community.

[08-05-05] - Fixed coding for layout (works on recent entries page only. Still working on the rest.) Added divider and those three little buttons above it. Added poll, community search engine, and about layout information to the left sidebar.

[08-04-05] - Finished layout, but the coding for it looks messed up on the page. Created avatar for community.
