There is a reason why Aaron Finch is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world in limited-overs cricket. Against England, in the ODI series in January 2018, Finch smashed two back-to-back centuries after coming down to open the innings for his side. Just a few weeks later in the T20I tri-series, the right-hand batsman smashed an unbeaten 20 in 8 balls, followed by a 22-ball 36* as he helped his side in winning both the matches. Known for his hard-hitting batting and finishing abilities, the victoria batsman came under the radar back in 2006, playing for his country in the U-19 World Cup. His aggressive batting style made him a regular for Australia in limited-overs cricket. In 88 ODIs, he has amassed 3200 runs at an average of 38.55 with a strike rate of 90.06. He has also played 36 T20Is in which he has scored 1,206 runs at an average of 40.2 with whopping strike rate of 151.7. The Indian Premier League has only increased Finch's reputation. He has played 65 matches over the years, in which he has scored 1,603 runs with a strike rate of 130.43.
