According to a statement issued by the South Point High School, out of 754 students, 181 scored 95 per cent and above, 425 students scored 90 per cent and above and 635 students got 80 per cent and above
Among them is Tushar Upadhyay, a commerce student of the School of Excellence at Kalkaji. While most students take tuitions to score well in their class XII board exams, the 17-year-old prepared by giving tuitions.
The overall pass percentage in the country increased by 0.36 percentage points as 91.46 per cent students passed this year, as compared to last year’s 91.1 per cent. Pune region, of which Maharashtra is a part, scored 98.05 per cent and ranked fourth among all regions.
Last year, these schools had registered a sobering Class X result with a 71.97% pass percentage. This year, it has leaped up to 81.39% for Delhi East and 84.89% for Delhi West.
In Panchkula region, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.1 in Haryana and 96.92 in Himachal Pradesh. In both states, girls performed better than boys. In Haryana, 96.51 per cent girls and 92.33 per cent boys cleared the exams. In HP, 98.14 per cent girls and 95.99 per cent boys cleared the exams.

"My parents were initially reluctant to send me to Sitapur. My father is a farmer and mother a home-maker. They thought if I go away for studies, I may not return to farming. But my sisters convinced them to allow me to study," said Anurag.
In CBSE class 10 result 2020, the KV schools have given a best-ever performance with almost all of their students securing a pass percentage of 99.23 per cent, followed by JNVs at 98.66 per cent.
CBSE 10th result 2020: Among regions, Trivandrum has again emerged as the top-performer. This year, it has observed a pass percentage of 99.28 per cent.
