The city police on Friday claimed to have busted a sex racket allegedly running from a city hotel,and arrested three persons for “human trafficking”.

Acting on a tip-off,the police carried out a raid on Signora Hotel and detained five girls from the spot. The girls were reportedly brought from Kolkatta and Mumbai,police said.

The police said the hotel manager escaped from the spot but his aide who was among the three arrested.

DCP Zone I Neeraj Badgujar said,“The manager has been found involved as was aiding the sex racket in his hotel. The police will book the hotel manager and staffers who were running the racket from quite some time.”

The Anandnagar police have lodged a case and begun further probe.
