The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala declared the Kerala Plus Two Result 2026 on May 26 at results.hse.kerala.gov.in. Nearly 4,52,437 students appeared for the Kerala DHSE Class 12 board examinations. The Minister for General Education, N Samsudheen announced that 77.97% students passed in HSE. The Kerala +2 exams 2026 were conducted from March 6 to March 28 across multiple examination centres in the state.

Apart from the websites, the Kerala Class 12 Result 2026 will also be accessible through the Saphalam app, Nammude Keralam app, and DigiLocker for added convenience.

In the Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary stream, 26,829 first-year students and 26,826 second-year regular students had registered themselves. Around 389 exam centres and 8 valuation camps were set up for this stream. The valuation camp for the vocational stream started on April 6, 2026. A total of 3,700 teachers were deployed for exam duty.
How to check +2 result online?
The exams in the Gulf region were cancelled due to the tension in the Middle East region. Students who have appeared from those centres will have their marks awarded based on their performance in the school term exam and internal assessments.

Government schools achieved a pass rate of 72.66 per cent while Aided schools scored 82.82 per cent.
Last year Government schools had a pass rate of 73.23 per cent and Aided schools scored 82.16 per cent.
The marks were calculated using a software prepared by NIC. As per the board, the online tabulation was completed efficiently and without any technical glitches. The Directorate had taken extensive steps to monitor the functioning of the online tabulation centres.
22,172 teachers were involved in the evaluation process at 89 centres in different parts of the state. The second year evaluation was completed from April 16 to May 11, 2026.
A total of 1,523 students appeared from the 15 technical higher secondary schools under DHSE. As many as 1,109 of them passed the exam and qualified for higher studies. The pass rate was recorded at 72.82 per cent. Total 50 students scored A+ grade in all subjects.
The number of schools with a pass percentage below 30 per cent dipped from 46 last year to 32 schools this year.
On the other hand, 76 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the HSE Kerala 2026 exams.
Highest number of students, that is 835, appeared from Government HSS, Thirurangadi, Malappuram. Their pass percentage was recorded at 85.39 per cent.
Next, 820 students appeared from Govt. Rajah's HSS, Kottakkal, Malappuaram and their pass rate was 85 per cent.
From the Commerce stream total 1,08,567 candidates appeared and 81,147 passed the exams. The pass percentage was recorded at 74.74 per cent.
From the total 75,923 students of humanities stream who appeared for the HSE 2026 exams, 50,398 passed the exams, leading to a passing percentage of 66.38 per cent.

Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 84.52 per cent with 1,58,836 students passing the exams from the total 1,87,933 who took the exam.

The Technical Stream of the Higher Secondary Course is run by technical schools. From the 15 technical higher secondary schools following Kerala Higher Secondary syllabus, 1481 candidates appeared for the exam in March last year. Among them 1,048 candidates became eligible for higher studies that is 70.76%. Out of this 72 candidates secured A+ in all subjects.
Government schools recorded a pass rate of 73.33 per cent last year while unaided schools achieved 75.91 per cent. Special schools scored 86.4 per cent, aided 82.16 per cent, Kalamandalam (Art) 80.36 per cent and Technicla schools scored 70.76 per cent.
In the previous year's DHSE Kerala Plus Two board exams 46,810 students were awarded A grade or above, 54,743 students got B+ grade or above, 65,420 students scored B grade or above, 59,115 students got C+ grade or above, 31,963 secured C grade or above and 198 students D+ grade or above in all subjects. 81,579 students got D grade and 669 students had E grade.
Students who do not qualify the passing criteria will have to give the supplementary DHSE exams. Those who are not satisfied with their results will be able to apply for rechecking of answer sheets. Deatiled information regarding both will be released by the board once the results are out.
Last year boys had scored a pass rate of 68.44 per cent, where 1,23,160 students passed out of the 1,79,952 who sat for the exam. Girls lead with a passing percentage of 86.65 per cent, 1,65,234 qualified the exam from the total 1,90,690 who gave the exam.
As per data released by the Board, science stream had recorded the highest pass percentage last year with 1,57,561 (83.25%) students passing from the total 1,89,263 who took the examination. In the humanities stream 51,578 (69.16%) candidates had passed out of 74,583, and in the Commerce stream 79,255 (74.21%) candidates qualified for higher studies from the 1,06,796 candidates who had appeared for the exam.
Last year, 19,719 (57.91%) SC students passed out of total 34,051. In the ST category 3,047 students passed out of 5,055, and 6,183 (69.88%) OEC students cleared the exam out of 8,848. 19,7567 (78.64%) OBC students qualified out of 2,51,245 and 61,878 (86.61%) from other category out of 71,443 qualified for higher studies.
Total 41 students scored 1200/1200 in the Plus Two DHSE exams last year. 30,145 students achieved A+ grade in all subjects. Out of this 22,663 were girls and 7,482 were boys. As many as 22,772 students were from science combination (the highest in number), 2,863 students from humanities combination (leaste in number) and 4,510 students were from commerce combination.
A total of 1,984 examination centres were established for the DHSE Plus Two exam. The breakdown: 1,966 in Kerala, 9 in Lakshadweep, 7 in the Gulf region, and 2 in Mahe — reflecting the reach of Kerala's education network beyond state borders.
S V HSS, Palemad, Malappuram recorded the highest number of candidates appearing for the exam, with 785 students, achieving a pass percentage of 72.48%. This was followed by St. Mary’s HSS, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, where 756 candidates registered a pass percentage of 79.37%, and MSM HSS, Kallingalparamba, Malappuram, with 712 candidates securing an impressive 91.01%. Govt. Rajah’s HSS, Kottakkal, Malappuram, also with 712 candidates, reported a pass percentage of 86.1%.
In total, 57 schools recorded a 100% pass percentage in 2025, while 46 schools registered below 30%. Malappuram district had emerged as the top performer, with 4,735 students securing A+ grades in all subjects.
As per reports, a total of 4,44,807 candidates had registered for the Plus Two examinations in 2025. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 77.81 per cent. Arts recorded a pass rate of 83.25 per cent, Commerce students scored 74.21 per cent and Science had the highest pass rate at 83.25 per cent.
The Plus Two result was declared on May 9 in 2024. As many as 3.7 lakh students had appeared for the exam, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 78.69 per cent. The exam was conducted across 3,000 centres throughout the state.

Step 3: Go to the Education Documents section and search for “Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE)” or the Kerala Class 12th result document.
Step 4: Choose “DHSE Plus Two Results 2026” or “Class 12 Marksheet”.
Step 5: Enter your registered mobile number and date of birth in the required fields.
Step 6: Submit the details to access the Kerala 12 Result 2026.
Step 7: Click on “Save to Locker” to store the digital marksheet in your DigiLocker account for future use.
As many as 26,829 first-year students and 26,826 second-year regular students had applied for the DHSE kerala exams.
For these exams 389 centres and 8 valuation centres were set up. The valuation camp began on April 6 and 3,700 teachers were involved in exam duty.
The DHSE Kerala Plus Two exams in the Gulf region were cancelled due to the tension in West Asia. Students who have appeared from those centres will have their marks awarded based on their performance in the school term exam and internal assessments.
To pass the class 12 exam, students have to get a minimum of 30 per cent in each subject and an overall of all subjects. They are required to pass separately in the internal assessment and theory exam.
The DHSE examination was conducted between March 6 and March 28, 2026.
This year, around 4,52,437 students have appeared for their +2 exam.

DHSE to release Class 12th and VHSE results on May 26 at 3 pm at keralaresults.nic.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in and results.kerala.gov.in and dhsekerala.gov.in
Last year, the Class 12 results were declared on May 22. The pass percentage achived by KBPE was 77.81 per cent. The highest pass percentage was achived by 83.25 per cent, followed by Commerce stream at 74.21 per cent and arts at 69.16 per cent. In 2024, the results were declared on May 9. The pass percentage was 78.69 per cent. A total of 3,74,755 candidates appeared for the exam, of whom 2,94,888 students have successfully cleared the exam. There was a 4 per cent drop in the pass rate compared to its previous years. The pass percentage in 2023 was 82,95 per cent.
