CHENNAI, July 15: C P Seshadri, former Assistant Editor with The Indian Express’ here, and better known in journalistic circles as Master’, passed away this morning after a brief illness. He was 86. Master’ retired on March 31, 1997, after putting in a record 60 years of unbroken service at the Express’. A loyal aide of the Express’ founder, the late Ramnath Goenka, Master’ was a giant in journalism, and brevity was his forte.
