Any party organised by you is not complete without caps and masks. Well, we know that. So we are going to help you make your party perfect. Read on and learn a simple way to make all your party favourites at home.
To make party caps and masks all you need is a pair of scissors, a bottle of glue, card paper and strings of rubber. And of course lots of enthusiasm.
Fun caps:
Cut the card paper in an 8 inch x 8 inch square or as per the size you wish. Make a cone out of it. Staple the ends of the cone. Make two tiny holes opposite each other at the wide end of the cone. Tie a rubber string to the two holes and your party cap is ready. You can decorate it with abla or gelatin paper.
Party masks:
The basics for masks are more or less the same as making a hat. On card paper, draw the cartoon you like the most if you can create one from your imagination, there’s nothing like it!. But before drawing, remember to measure the width and length of your face.
Mark the length and the width points with a scale on the card paper and then start drawing. Use one rupee coins for marking the eyes. Remember, the eyes are the most important part of your mask.
Paint the mask, that is the lips, the hair and the cheeks with bright colours. Pierce the ears of your cartoon with holes for the rubber strings to pass through them. If you forget to cut out the markings of the eyes you won’t be able to see through the mask. So, cut the markings.
With black paint, make eyebrows over your mask’s eye holes. Your mask looks convincing now. If you get your friends to help you, making masks can be good fun.
