By-election to PCMC ward
THE by-election to ward number 31 Central Institute of Road Transport of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation PCMC will be held on November 29. The seat had fallen vacant on the death of Anil Hegde, who was murdered on March 20.

The ward has been reserved for scheduled caste candidates. Nominations will be accepted on November 6 and scrutinised on November 7. The last date for withdrawal is November 13.

Nature camp

MCCAI opening
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sharad Pawar will inaugurate the building of the Pimpri-Chinchwad wing of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture MCCAI-Pimpri Chinchwad, on September 25.

The MCCAI has contructed a separate building on a 4500 sq metre plot granted by the Maharashtra State Industrial Corporation MIDC for the Pimpri-Chinchwad belt.
