CHENNAI, May 4: The Madras High Court has refused bail to Mayavan, an employee of Ashok Leyland, who claimed he was a saint and an astrologer. He has been charged with rape of young girls, in his bid to attain ‘mukti’. He had committed the crime along with an associate, Gokul, an engineer. The two raped girls in the gae group 13-15 after administering them with tablets laced with whiskey. If the girls refused, they were beaten up brutally by the men.
