Tara Iyer made a first round exit from the 25,000 ITF women’s singles event in Gympie, Australia after losing the tie in straight sets against local hope Monique Adamczak. Tara had managed to put up a fight after giving in the first set easily but the fourth seed Monique prevailed in the second set tie-breaker to seal the Indian’s fate with a score of 6-1, 7-65 at the hard court event.
