8226; That was a wonderful article on Jayakantan by Jaithirth Rao ‘The writer of possibilities’, IE, April 1. It is sad that many excellent writers writing in Tamil are not recognised these days. If columnists like Rao keep writing on legends like Jayakantan, at least this will create awareness among those who value literature but because of linguistic reasons are unaware of the pool of excellence that exists in Tamil literature.
