While answering a question on whether US intends to relieve Iran’s sanctions or frozen money, Rubio asserted, that “any sanctions relief is conditional” on Iran’s “commitment, or compliance” with agreements on not enriching uranium and pursuing alleged “nuclear activity”.
No response from Iran on US’s final proposal: Iran has not yet responded to a proposed final agreement with the United States aimed at ending the conflict between the two countries, and discussions on the final text are continuing in Tehran, news agency Reuters reported, citing Mehr News. Quoting a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, Mehr News reported that Iran was reviewing the proposal cautiously because of what it sees as a history of US non-compliance and longstanding mistrust.

Trump hits brake on Israel’s plan: US President Donald Trump on Monday said that Israel will not send troops to Lebanon after holding a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump further added that he also held a call with Hezbollah and that “they agreed that all shooting will stop.”
