Centre announces ceasefire in J&K with militants during Ramzan, CM Mehbooba Mufti thanks Rajnath, Modi and other stakeholders
Home Minister Rajnath Singh announced a ceasefire with militants in Jammu and Kashmir during the holy month of Ramzan. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti thanked him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking a personal interest in the matter. But some BJP leaders including national secretary Ram Madhav clarified that this did not mean the forces would exercise restraint if provoked or attacked.
