Comedian-director John Lapus amused Filipinos after he was spotted securing a card for a toll collection system while still wearing his full makeup from a shoot.

On Friday, March 27, the showbiz personality shared that he had lost his Autosweep RFID and was only able to find his Easytrip RFID.

Autosweep is used when passing through the South Luzon Expressway,  NAIA Expressway, STAR Tollway, Skyway, Skyway Stage 3, the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway.

Meanwhile, Easytrip is used on the North Luzon Expressway, the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, Manila-Cavite Expressway, the Cavite-Laguna Expressway and the C5 South Link.

“Nandito lang ‘yung Easytrip pa non… syempre kailangan ‘yun, ‘di ba, ‘pag ‘di nagbubukas ‘yung barrier. So umakyat ako dito sa may Araneta Avenue para nga kumuha ng [Autosweep] na card,” John said in his video.

“Nawala sa isip ko, galing nga pala ako ng shooting. So pagbukas ko ng bintana, nagulat ‘yung mga tao, kasi ganto ‘yung itsura ko!” he exclaimed, before angling the camera toward his face with a laugh.

John was wearing full makeup that covered his entire face in white and pink powder, with red streaks.

“Sorry kay Kuya na bantay sa Autosweep,” he wrote in the caption, along with emojis.

The comedian’s post drew laughs from Filipinos, who flooded the comments with reactions.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHA, S****, BAKA AKO SUMIGAW ‘PAG NAKITA KA, MA,” an online user wrote.

“HAHAHAHA! Umm, ingat, mowm, or sila mag-ingat sayo? Emz,” another commented.

“Maaa!!! Oh my god!” a different X user commented with a laughing emoji.

As an artist, John often wears makeup, especially when his roles call for more flamboyant looks.
