I ended up deleting and recreating the deployment a few hours later and seemed to work
Deployed Claude and getting API deployment resource is not ready even though it has been an hour

I just tested a deployment of Claude-Sonnet-4-5 in Canada East region. It seems to be working at my side.
Please share your operating region to help replicate the issue.

I had used a non-hub-based project in first trials for replicating the issue. In Hub based project, East Us 2 seems to be slow, but working now.
Please test with non-hub-based project and let us know if it works.

Thank you for confirming that you were able to create working deployment in East US region after deleting old deployment.
It is an ideal practice to have multi-region deployment to deal regional slowness issue.
