Pivot tables - How to remove items from Pivot table that is not found in the data source?

Anonymous

Pivot tables - I updated a Pivot table with Oct data. To get the same format for Oct date from 202210 to 10.2022, I selected Sep and Aug date cells and dragged it one step down. What it did was insert a new row called Formula1 with no data in other cells of the row. I cannot find Formula1 in my data source either. I created a new Pivot table using same data source but that also include Formula1. How do I remove it?

Click anywhere in the pivot table.

On the PivotTable Analyze tab of the ribbon, in the PivotTable group, click Options.

    Activate the Data tab.

Select None from the 'Number of items to retain per field' drop down.

    Click OK.

    Refresh the pivot table.
